The Karnataka Indian Tattoo

More than two hundred tattoo designs have been identified in Karnataka (South
India). A tattoo in the shape of a crown on the skin of a pregnant woman was believed to bring a beautiful daughter. A tattoo on a woman’s wrist was believed to prevent death of her family members.
